How far is Aspiring Campervan Park from Lake Wanaka and the main shopping area?
The central shopping, business and tourist area of Wanaka township is only about 2km’s away - just a short drive from the campervan park, while the lake front is within easy walking distance from the campervan park.
We are not travelling in a campervan, therefore can you recommend any suitable accommodation?
The good news is that you don't have to travelling around in a campervan or motorhome to enjoy staying at our Qualmark 5 Star holiday park! We now have The Lodge and Family Studios available.
How far away is Queenstown?
Depending on the weather, road conditions and traffic, it usually takes between 70-90 minutes to drive between Queenstown and Wanaka.
Are all your sites powered and on a sealed surface?
Yes. Each individual motorhome site has it’s own power supply and located on a sealed surface.
Do you have tent sites available?
No, we only have motorhome (RV), caravan and campervan powered sites available, however we do have a motel located within the complex and can provide you with further information if requested.
Are all your amenities smoke free?
Smoking is only permitted in outside areas only.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets.
What is your check-out time?
Check out is 10.00am.
Does the tariff rate include use of all on-site facilities?
Your nightly tariff includes use of all our extensive on-site facilities except for the washing machines and clothes dryers (which are coin operated). View our Facilities page to see just what we have on offer!
Is the campervan park suitable for children?
Children love staying at Aspiring Campervan Park! Located well away from any busy roads, children can enjoy the on-site playground plus expansive lawns and gardens.
Do you have boat parking?
If you are planning on enjoying the water activities at nearby Lake Wanaka we are happy to offer additional parking space for your boat and boat trailer.
How can I check if you have any powered sites available?
You will need to contact our reservation team via our contact us page or by using the Request a Quotation page. We will contact you within 24 hours to advise of availability and rates.
How do I make a reservation?
You can use our secure online Make a Booking service and we will respond within 24 hours to confirm your booking, alternatively you can telephone, fax or email us via our Contact Us page.
What are the peak holiday periods in New Zealand?
The busiest season is during the Christmas/New Year and January school holiday period. January and February are peak summer holiday periods in New Zealand and Easter is another popular holiday period. The ski season in Queenstown and Wanaka during July/August/September is another busy period for us and we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Is it necessary to pre-book holiday park accommodation?
Aspiring Campervan Park is a popular destination for independent motorhome travellers which is why we recommend that you pre-book when possible.
What is your booking payment policy?
Your credit card is required for booking confirmation and cancellation policy guarantee only. The full amount will be deducted from your credit card to secure a site and confirmation will follow.
I have submitted my booking form and credit card - what happens now?
Customer service is our number one priority; therefore your booking request will be processed as quickly as possible - normally you will receive booking confirmation within 24 hours.
Is it safe to use my credit card online?
Yes. We treat the security of our guest’s information very seriously. To ensure your security, all credit card transactions are secured by SSL, which encrypts the credit card number so as to make it unavailable to any other party.
What currency will my Credit Card be charged?
New Zealand banking laws require that all credit card transactions be charged in New Zealand currency.
