New Zealand Immigration’s Guide to Fees

English Language Information
Under the Residence from Work Categories and Priority Occupations List Residence Policy you are not required to meet English language requirements. However, your partner and any of your children aged 16 or over who are included in your application need to meet the certain English language requirements. Immediate Skill Shortage List & Information Technology Skills List
Formerly known as the Occupational Shortages List, this is an extensive list of identified occupations for which there is a shortage of skilled workers in New Zealand. It is centrally maintained and issued bi-annually by the NZIS. This A-Z list of employment jobs lists the area of shortage, the qualifications required and the area(s) in New Zealand seeking this type of employee. If an applicant produces as offer of employment in an occupation that is included on the current Immediate Skill Shortage List the NZIS will accept that no suitably qualified New Zealand citizens or residents are available!
Long Term Skill Shortage List
Formerly known as the Priority Occupations List. A detailed appendix listing occupational groups, occupations, long term skill shortage list and qualifications required.
List of Recognised Qualifications
Find out if your overseas qualifications are recognised by the NZIS. Released by the NZIS for immigration purposes, international education qualifications listed in this booklet (listed by country) do not require assessment by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
New Zealand Guide & Application for Evaluation of International Qualifications
